300 Series Stainless Steel Sheet Supplier
Tell Steel distributes stainless steel sheet grades in the 300 series: SS 304, SS 310, and SS 316. The Stainless Steel 300 Series is a family of austenitic stainless steel grades that feature chromium and nickel as the primary alloying elements. They demonstrate exceptional strength, anti-bacterial properties, and high aesthetic value. Stainless steel sheets in the 300 series do not corrode or rust as easily as carbon steel, making them a preferred choice for many industrial applications. A wire-brushed #4 finish option is also available for the 304 and 316 grades.Stainless Steel Sheet Grade 304
SS 304 is the most common stainless steel sheet grade. Its blend of corrosion resistance, formability, weldability, and strength make it an ideal general-purpose stainless steel for indoor and outdoor applications. Common stainless steel shee 304 uses include decorative architectural pieces, appliances, paneling, automotive components, and more.Stainless Steel Sheet Grade 310
Stainless steel 310 sheet is manufactured for high-temperature applications. It has a higher chromium content than 304 and contains nickel and silicon, making it more resistant to oxidation and scaling at high temperatures. It is more expensive and less formable than SS 304, reducing its versatility for general applications. However, it is the best option for industrial applications requiring exposure to extremely high temperatures, including furnace parts, heat exchangers, power generation equipment, and more.Stainless Steel Sheet Grade 316
Stainless steel 316 sheet is similar to 304 but contains a higher molybdenum content. This makes it more corrosion-resistant, especially in chloride environments like saltwater or brine. SS 316 sheet is a good choice for marine applications, food processing equipment, chemical handling equipment, and other harsh environments.Stainless Steel Sheet with #4 Finish
This is a wire-brushed finish available for both 304 and 316 stainless steel sheet. It has a matte appearance that effectively hides scratches while enhancing visual appeal. The #4 stainless steel sheet finish is popular for architectural and other applications requiring a matte aesthetic.Need a Stainless Steel Sheet Manufacturer You Can Trust? Tell Steel Has You Covered
